£49* for Loft Insualtion in homes with solid walls.

“About 45% of the homes in Carlisle City Council have cavity walls and have been taking advantage of the huge discounts available for cavity wall insulation with our partners Bookmysurvey Ltd over the last five years. For those living in homes with solid walls it’s been a slightly different story. Grants have traditionally favoured cavity walls because it is quick and easy to install insulation and doesn’t cost a fortune.

“For homes with solid walls the answer is a lot more complicated. Our new ICE project offers some simple solutions targeted specifically at hard to treat homes. The cost of the package normally would be £280 but with the help of our partners Bookmysurvey Ltd, we’ve got the cost down to £49*. However funds are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.”
